TGI Free Friday at the gallery

Friday night we kept the doors open late for our last T.G.I.F. (Free Friday) and it proved, once again, that kids love hands-on experiential learning. With the help of InterAct Story Theatre, the children explored our current exhibition, BITE identity and humor, and  participated in a super hero performance activity. Through the works of Alan J. Simensky, they used their imaginations, bodies, and voices to develop individual super hero personas. Back in the Learning Center kids and parents experimented with model magic, oil pastels, collage papers, wire, and more. It was Super-Fun and we hope to see more families join us this fall when Free Fridays return to GRACE.
