TGI:Free Friday – another night of fun at the gallery

The artwork of Jacqueline Levine served as an excellent story space for TGI: Free Friday this week. Ali, from InterAct Story Theatre, told an exciting tale about underwater monsters and the “P” people. The children clapped and giggled their way around the gallery as they enjoyed the interaction with the art. And we can’t forget the family fun art-making experience! Working with tissue paper and pipe cleaners the kids made wonder collage pieces reminiscent of Eric Carle; many fun animal creations left the gallery this evening.  While other gallery guests dove into the bin of crayons and paper punches to develop a very special card to celebrate mom this May. We hope to see you all next month (June 1) for the last TGI: Free Friday of the season.
